Our client requires a Metallurgist to join their expanding team.

You will be responsible for organising and running the metallurgical laboratory, preparation and pulling of test bars, chemical analysis, preparation of cut-up test micrographs, overseeing calibration of heat treatment MET .Lab Equipment.

You will organise heat treatment production with the Production Manager and be responsible for the upkeep of Nadcap accreditation. You will also be required to investigate corrosion and metal failure and ensure manufacturing quality standards are adhered to. You must be able to use specialist computer applications and carry out laboratory based analysis of samples.

This vacancy is permanent and salary is dependent upon experience.
